INTRODUCTION by Eddie B.

Hi. Welcome to this web site. Please feel free to browse around and see if there is something here for you. There is a variety of information here concerning the Bible and what it says about different subjects. It is by no means finished and I will be continually adding things to it.
There are also links to other websites that may be related to material on this site
This web site does not represent any church or cult, only the Bible. The views, opinions and interpretations on this site stem from a variety of men and women of God from both the past and the present. There might even be some material here from people who are not considered to be men or women of God by mainstream Christianity.
Some may even feel stretched by things n this site and that their sacred cows are getting stepped on. If you feel that then all I can say is why not be open minded or just have a bar-b-que like Elisha did and feed the poor and homeless? 1Ki 19:21, “And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.”
My purpose is not to please mainstream Christianity, nor to offend it, or anyone for that matter, but to cut a path between the devil and the deep blue sea, and present truthful materials for thought, meditation, instruction, inspiration, challenge and to set the captives free.
What captives? YOU may even be a captive and not even realize it. You may THINK you are free, but there is only one way to be absolutely sure. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the light, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me” and If ye continue in My Words then are ye My disciples indeed, and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”
So that is how you will know if you are truly free or not. Are you a disciple of Christ? Do you think you are a disciple? How will people know? How will you know? Jesus said there is a way that the whole world will know whether you are a disciple of Christ or not. Not by what church you go to, and it will not be by what group you are in no matter how “inspired” you feel or how many “miracles” you have heard about or witnessed in your church.
Jesus said, “By THIS shall ALL men know ye are My disciples, if ye have LOVE one towards another”
Yes, folks. It doesn’t matter if you are a minister, give your body to be burned, sacrifice your time and money, go to a nice big beautiful church, or have been to the best Seminary in the world. If you end up not having love for your neighbor, you ended up with nothing!
So how are you saved then? Someone asked Jesus that after that person had just quoted off all of the commandments and said that he had kept them from his youth. Jesus said that he still lacked something.
Here is this rich young man with everything you could ever dream of, at least in that time period. Compared to these times it would be like owning a mansion in Beverly Hills and ten of the most luxurious cars with billions of dollars in the bank, but still you would be lacking something Jesus said. What could that possibly be?
“Go and SELL all that thou hast and GIVE to the poor and thou shalt have TREASURE in HEAVEN……and…..COME…. and…. FOLLOW Me!” What a shock that must have been! Here was this rich young ruler that most likely aspired to be a king someday being told to sell everything he had and give it all way to the poor!
Well, he must not have liked that too much because it then says that he went away sorrowing. The Jesus uses the situation to teach the people how unimportant riches are, and that your financial status or standing in society or your church or group does not determine your salvation.
“Search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and it is they which do testify of Me” Jn5:39
Are you saved? Have you been born again? What exactly does that mean? Do you know? Do you really KNOW Jesus, whom to know is eternal life? Do you have a relationship with Him? Not only with Jesus but with the Father and the Holy Spirit too?”For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are ONE!”
How can you be sure that the church you are with or that group you are with is teaching you the truth? “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God” Ro 8:16
Jesus said “Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God” Jn 3:3
SEE means in the original Greek to perceive, understand, know, consider, and look upon. Someone who is truly born again will understand what the Kingdom really is, and the true Gospel Jesus taught. They will know Jesus, The Father and the Holy Spirit and that is salvation!
Many people today say that they believe IN God and the Bible but do they really believe GOD and the BIBLE? Believe what God said? DO they believe that it is the truth just because God said it is so?
There is a difference between a Christian and a believer. There are many that proclaim faith in Jesus Christ and say that they are a Christian. What is a Christian? What is a disciple? Acts 11:26 says; “And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” So that means if you are a CHRISTIAN then you are a DISCIPLE! Unless you just prefer to go according to the modern day definition of the word Christian which says in the Webster dictionary:
Main Entry: 1Chris•tian
Pronunciation: 'kris-ch&n, 'krish-
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin christianus, adjective & n., from Greek christianos, from Christos
1 a : one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ b (1) : DISCIPLE 2 (2) : a member of one of the Churches of Christ separating from the Disciples of Christ in 1906 (3) : a member of the Christian denomination having part in the union of the United Church of Christ concluded in 1961
2 : the hero in Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress

So you can ask yourself which one you are, or choose the one which best fits your situation, but if you are going to use the definition given in Acts 11:26 then you will see that a Christian in that age became a disciple BEFORE he or she was a Christian. They were already clearly following Christ , therefore they deserved the title of “Christian”.
As we can see in today’s world, organized religion has tried to put the cart before the horse. They are trying to make Christians out of people before they become disciples, or leaving the disciple part out altogether!
The question Nicodemus brought up to Jesus in John 3, “How can a man be born when e is old?” Shows it is never too late to get saved. Jesus answered abruptly and quickly, as was His style, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
Amazingly enough there are many churches today that believe this means that you have to be water baptized in order to be saved and unless you are submerged in water Jesus will never let you through the pearly gates of Heaven!
Well, I guess that leaves out Eskimos, as you can’t very well be baptized in ice, and desert dwellers, as well as those who have a hard enough time finding enough water to drink and use just for their daily needs, poor things!
There are even those who believe that unless you are baptized at THEIR church you will go to hell!
Jesus was no talking about physical water baptism! He was talking about being born again by the washing of the water of the Word of God! That is the only way you can be saved!
Jn1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration,(born of water) and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (born of the Spirit)
Well, there are many other scriptures that deal with this subject but if you don’t have enough faith in the WORD and don’t believe what the Bible actually says then you wouldn’t even believe it even if someone rose from the dead. Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

So how then do you know you are saved? How can you be sure? Is it a feeling? Is there some supernatural manifestation? Are there signs? Well, Jesus said “An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas”: Matthew 12:39 So I wouldn’t expect a sign, although there are times when there is a sign or signs , but not as the rule.
You can’t go buy your feelings because you may feel different from one day to the next. Satan and his devils are experts in the power of suggestion and giving us feelings and emotions to get us to depend on them, and this is the way most people manage their day ,by going according to the way they feel.
However you cannot do that with salvation as one day you may feel saved and the next day you may not.
You can know you are saved beyond the shadow of any doubt whatsoever by knowing what The Word of God, the Bible says. You get saved or born again by the Word, first of all. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
So you can read these Bible verses and then decide for yourself if you think you are saved or not. “Let everyman be fully persuaded in his mind” Ro 14:5
You might also be like those who get into all the little details and shibboleths about the word “believe” and all of its definitions. Jesus wasn’t that complicated and he didn’t put the cookies of salvation on such a high shelf that the common, simple person could not reach!
He even said it is easier for children to enter into the Kingdom of God than the scribes and Pharisees! So it must be pretty easy if even a child can get in wouldn’t you think?
The only thing keeping anyone from salvation is doubt. Jesus said in Matthew 18:3 “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” How many little children have been through Bible College? How many little children understand all of the church doctrines on salvation? How many little children keep all of the Laws of Moses? The requirements Jesus is laying down here to be saved for all eternity is this: “Be converted and become as little children”
To be converted means to turn from your evil ways. Anyone who has not turned from their evil ways has not been converted, and has not become like a little child in pure simple faith and love!
You can debate about this until the moon turns blue, but your debate and its outcome will not determine anyone’s salvation, especially your own! If you don’t want to be saved by simple faith in the simple words of Jesus, that’s your choice as a free moral agent!
No one is going to force you to get saved the way Jesus said to anyway. If you want to make up your own requirements for salvation, or go along with the requirements your church or denomination or group lay down that is entirely up to you!
Just remember that God is not asking you to do things in His Word to get saved that are not written there. Just believe, only believe, and be converted to become like a little child. Then you will know, and others around you will also know!
If you can’t believe God’s Word in the Bible those holy men wrote down as they were moved by the Holy Ghost, whose writings are you going to believe? How many scriptures do you need to convince you of the sincerity and honesty of God? What does it take to convince people that God really means what He said? There are thousands of Bible scriptures that tell you of eternal life and God’s plan for man, but unfortunately I don’t have room or time to list them here.
Anyone who can read can learn to use a concordance to look up Bible references, or if you have a computer, which you do if you are reading this, you can get a Bible program called “Theophilus” which lets you do a search in the whole Bible by merely typing in the word, or phrase you want to look up.
For those who wish to look up the original Hebrew or Greek meaning that was used when the scripture was first received in that language, there are programs like e-Sword which you can download for free. Even the King James Version, which I believe to be the best translation of the Bible and the most accurate, has errors that can be corrected if you know what the original said. At least when you come to a word or words that puzzle you because of it’s lack of use or change of meaning today, you can look it up to see what it really meant in those days.
Now that might seem like a lot of work but in the long run you will have more confidence in your own eternal destiny and will be able to guide others also to theirs.
On this web site I also plan to include different material having to do with the current world situation and how it relates to Bible prophecy. You will be surprised to find out how you and your country fit into God’s plans for the final years, days and hours of world history as we know it!
Jesus is coming back just as He promised, and it won’t be long now as the world situation heats up to the final climax of world events that will shake the very foundations of the Globe we live on!
Not only can you know and be sure whether or not you are going to heaven, but you can also help others to know also! Not only that but you will know your future and what the Bible says you can do about it! Time is shorter than we think!
May God Bless You,

Eddie B.
