FROM THE BIBLE
Signs of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the Battle of Armageddon
Revelation 19:11 ¶And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod
of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Bible prophecy tells about the second coming of Jesus Christ in specific detail. The signs of His coming prove that we are
living in the very last days of the age when these things are to be fulfilled. There are certain prophecies that can only
be fulfilled during the last days of this age, and since they are now being fulfilled, this is proof that We Are Living In
The Last Days!
Over 2500 years ago God spoke a prophecy through the prophet Zechariah describing how Jesus would return to this earth from
Heaven. This was recorded and included as part of the Old Testament in the Bible.
He describes a gigantic earthquake that happens in Jerusalem upon the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. This earthquake,
along with the landing of Jesus Christ upon the mount of Olives, causes the Mount of Olives to literally split in half creating
a huge valley. Infrared photographs were taken of this mountain recently which showed a huge earth quake fault running from
east to west! Holiday Inn canceled building plans there over 25 years ago when they discovered a 6 inch wide fault running
east to west on the top of the Mount of Olives!
Zechariah 14:1 ¶Behold, the day of the LORD cometh………….
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle……………
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives
shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of
the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
After the death and resurrection of Jesus, He walked this earth for 40 days before ascending to the right hand of God in Heaven.
Upon His ascension into Heaven, angels that stood by prophesied His return one day in exactly the same manner as He was departing….The
following were the very last words of Jesus to any human being before He ascended into Heaven, and the words of the angels
who described the way He would return….. Acts 1:6 ¶When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying,
Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while
they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven
as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing
up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him
go into heaven. 12.¶Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's
It says a cloud received Him out of their sight. According to the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 24, Jesus
prophesied the description of His return, that He would return coming in the clouds, the same way they received Him when He
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and
the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the
Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds
of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Here He is gathering together His chosen ones from all ages to join Him, not from the earth below, but “ from one end
of heaven to the other ” just as it says in His final return to the Mount of Olives, coming in the clouds of heaven
just as He left, returning to the same spot, just as the prophet Zechariah prophesied more than 2500 years before. This is
where He will fight against nations in the battle of Armageddon as prophesied by John the Revelator in the book of Revelations…in
the Bible verses written at the top of this letter also found in the last book of the Bible called Revelation.
Jesus, in the Gospel of Matthew, N.T. taught about the days preceding His second coming .
Matthew chapter 24: 3 and as he (Jesus) sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell
us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?(The end of the world
here means the end of the age before Jesus returns to set up God's government which will rule the earth).
4 ¶And Jesus answered and said unto him, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (There are sure a lot of funny religiouns today
and men walking around claiming to be "Christ" or the "Messiah" or the "Son of God" or the true religion)
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet. (Just count up all the major wars, battles, and conflicts that have been fought within the past 100 years,
the magnitude of them, and compare them with the number of wars that were fought in other centuries before, and see what kind
of statistics you come up with).
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes,
in divers places. ( Just read the newspapers and you can see the fulfillment of these things daily)
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (This is true not only within the Christian church, but almost
every religion today has their false prophets prophesying one thing or another. There is so much prophetic sensationalism
that people have turned more to these charismatic prophets than to the prophecies already in the Bible).
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (This is world wide hate, envy, bitterness, violence,
murder, and it also includes problems within the Christian church).
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end
come. (We have seen this in our generation. There is not one country upon the face of the earth unable to tap into the mass
media through TV, radio, internet, books, magazines, the printed word etc., and therefore if they are able to get access to
even the internet, they will be without excuse).
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Even many of the people who claim to be walking in the light of the truth will
be deceived by the false prophets and false Christs or so-called saviours).
25 Behold, I have told you before. (When Jesus has to repeat Himself again, it would be a wise thing to pay attention to
Him. It's very important.)
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers;
believe it not.
27 Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be. (Jesus said this so that when we see these imposters going around claiming to be prophets or Christs, we
will know not to follow them, for they will be spreading lies).
Matthew 24:32 ¶Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that
summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. (You don't haveto be a fig
tree farmer or any other kind of a farmer to discern the signs of the times)
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. ( We will see it all fulfilled
in our generation, or that of our children)
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. ( Jesus is saying that you an depend more on what
He says than what comes out from the earth or the heavens.)
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Even Jesus didn't know the
exact hour He will be returning).
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the
day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.( In those days
there were all kinds of perversions, violence, crime, ungodliness, adultery, fornication, deception, all manner of evil imaginations
such as there is today).
40 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (Are you ready?)
41 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. ( You'll be surprised!)
Paul the Apostle also taught on the Second Coming Of Jesus Christ in his letters called "epistles"
1 Timothy 4:1 ¶Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them
which believe and know the truth.
This means that there are going to be all different kids of crazy religions, and that is certainly being fulfilled today.
What you see is world wide religious confusion, as people wander around from church to church, religion to religion, seeking
the truth but seldom if ever finding it.)
2 Timothy 3:1 ¶This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. ( It sounds like Paul had alot of insight and foresight
into the times just before the second coming of Jesus Christ. Who can deny that all of the things Paul mentions here 2000
years ago are happening now , today , in most of the cities of the world, almost every movie, hit song, web site, TV show,
books, magazines, gossip shows, sensationalism, and all the other perversions witnessed daily just by going for a walk down
2 Timothy 4:1 ¶I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his
appearing and his kingdom;
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. ( Lies, Stories, fiction, Science fiction,
because the truth is too convicting. It calls for a life changing born again experience by belieivng in Jesus Christ and receiving
Him as your saviour.
What Peter Taught about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ:
3 ¶Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from
the beginning of the creation. (Aren't there many saying there is no God, Jesus is not coming back for hundreds of years yet?)
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of
the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: (This is Peter teaching also on the world before
Adam. The fist creation that was ruled by Lucifer and his angels before the rebellion and war led by Lucifer against God and
His angelic forces which Lucifer lost. The world , in turn, was judged by God and drowned along with all of the rebellious
beings who were on it. These dead beings became the disembodied evil spirits that now plague the minds and hearts of mankind.
Jesus Christ was the first to make a show of it by casting them out and gave us the power to do the same if we beleive and
claim that power as rightfully ours.)
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (
There will be a lot of God's fireworks blowing up. Just make sure you are on the right side!, God's side.)
11 ¶Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation
and godliness, ( What kind of people do we need to become like in these last days in order to survive and help others?)
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
( This old world will pass away. It is going to be history. We do not need to try to save the trees, whales, rain forests,
monkeys, alligators or whatever. Man lost his chance just like the beings who lived here in the first creation. It is too
late to try to save the planet. Man has already made too great of a mess of it. All we can hope to do now is save the souls
that are still on the earth, including you, by teaching you the truth as revealed in God's Word, and inviting you to take
the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Then you can be born again; born unto God as a new creature and begin a new life letting God change
you back into the person He first imagined you to be from the foundations of the world.

3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample
them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation
unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
5 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to

44 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron,
the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter:
and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

and his goodness in the latter days.
Joel 2:28 ¶And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters

shall no strangers pass through her any more.

and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water
the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
Micah 1:3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the

that are poured down a steep place.
Micah 2:12 ¶I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together
as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of

the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of
Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of
the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto
me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren
shall return unto the children of Israel.
4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall
abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
