Devotional Thoughts, BY EDDIE B.

“The glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams.”—Isaiah 33:21.
Broad rivers and streams are a sign of the Lords blessings in the land as the results are a fruitful land.
The lack of rivers and streams produce barren, dry lands.
Jesus said out of thy belly shall pour forth rivers of living waters.
The Lord pours out blessings upon His church, according to our obedience of His Word.
Give us this day our daily bread, my God shall supply all your need according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus,
but seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
He will supply our every need; He will pour it out, abundantly.
“I am come that ye may have life , and that ye may have it more abundantly.
“In this mountain shall the Lord of Hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things.”
Do you want the bread of life? Do you want the manna from heaven? The refreshing streams of the water of
the Word that washes and renews your mind?“And did drink of that same spiritual rock, for that rock was Christ”
The Rock that we follow, it is Jesus. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God”
If you lack anything it is not God’s fault, but your own. If you are strained and stressed, it is not in Him but in
yourself, your own doings, and your own things.
For He has said, “Abide in Me as a branch cannot bear fruit of itself, no more can ye except ye abide in me”
Rivers and streams also lead to prosperity, leading and guiding us down the river of God’s will, around the
rocks, protuberances, and obstacles, towards the riches of His abundance. The heavenly goodness, as we
see His glorious plan for our provision from the cross at Calvary, all the way to the Heavenly City,
New Jerusalem. “ In My Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you, I go to
prepare a place for you.”
That is why He said, “Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God believe also in Me” “He has prepared
For us a city”
The city God has prepared for us is studded with all kinds of jewels, precious stones. It is made of pure gold.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones.
The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth,
a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city
was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
It has trees that bear 12 kinds of fruit on the same tree. In the midst of it, through it , runs the river of life.
Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne
of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve
manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the
Symbol of God’s abundant blessings for His children whom He has adopted, and made heirs of the promise.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were
passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
5 neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
God has truly given us precious promises which He has every intention of fulfilling. He has planed a future
as bright as all of His good promises. He has laid before our eyes plans for the next 1000 years, the millennial
reign of Christ on earth, and has invited us to join Him in helping Him rule this planet, by defeating and removing the enemy,
Satan’s kingdom and replacing it with the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou
and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
He has surely given us visions of a glorious future, days of heaven upon the earth. Not only the 1000 years millennial
reign of Christ on earth, but also the New Heaven and the New Earth, New Jerusalem, at which time we shall continue to rule
and reign with Him for eternity.
Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
6 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light:
and they shall reign forever and ever.
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth
in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall
not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff, which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
